DUNNOTTAR SYMBOL
The logo for Dunnottar was inspired by the Kodaiknal lake. The shape represents an aerial view of the lake itself - easily the most recognizable feature of the hillside town.
What we found during the process of creating this identity was that while everyone was familiar with the lake, when shown this perspective it was almost unrecognizable. This allowed us to borrow from the familiar and to give context to the bungalow’s location right by the lake, as well as create a new symbol altogether.
THE MEMORY BOOK
This book serves the purpose of inspiring guests to share their experience at Dunnottar before they leave.
It was created with a simple question in mind - Does design influence the way people articulate and share their thoughts. Each page has a different layout, therefore encouraging guests to respond to the format while sharing their experiences.
